Caregiver / Home Support Worker

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 12 months of full-time, paid experience in caregiving, home support, or a related field (within the last 3 years)
✅ High school diploma or equivalent (Educational Credential Assessment may be required for immigration purposes)
✅ Basic proficiency in English or French (CLB 4–5 or equivalent)
✅ First Aid/CPR certification (asset, or required depending on province)
✅ Willingness to relocate to Canada America and Australia and undergo medical/security clearance
✅ Clean criminal record check
✅ Experience with elderly care, childcare, or persons with disabilities (specify which)
✅ Physically able to perform caregiving duties (lifting, mobility assistance, etc.)


KEY RESPONIBILITIES:

✅ Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
✅ Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs/restrictions
✅ Administer or remind clients to take prescribed medications
✅ Monitor and report changes in client's physical or mental condition
✅ Provide companionship and emotional support
✅ Assist with mobility (transfers, walking, use of mobility aids)
✅ Perform light housekeeping duties related to client care (laundry, tidying living space)
✅ Accompany clients to medical appointments or errands
✅ Maintain accurate care logs/records of daily activities and observations
✅ Follow individualized care plans set by family, agency, or healthcare provider
✅ Respond to emergencies and know when to escalate to medical professionals
✅ (If childcare-focused) Supervise children, assist with homework, prepare meals, ensure safety and developmental support
